Architecturally Relevant Requirements

Hi there, once again I will restart blogging, mostly for registering my learning and crawling on the web.

In order to capture and share some of the stuff I am reading now regarding Systems and Software Architecture, I will restart using this blog again.

Capturing Architectural Requirements - IBM DeveloperWorks - Peter Eeles
Architecture Level requirements specification - Paper from University of Waterloo, ON, Canada

There is a lot of useful information on the standards like ISO 42010, TOGAF and SEI, but the articles mentioned above are both well referenced and pragmatic.

Well, that is all for today.

It has really been a while, but I am back.

Dilbert - Agile Programming

Computer programming is tremendous fun ...

"Computer programming is tremendous fun. Like music, it is a skill that derives from an unknown blend of innate talent and constant practice. Like drawing, it can be shaped to a variety of ends—commercial, artistic, and pure entertainment. Programmers have a well-deserved reputation for working long hours but are rarely credited with being driven by creative fevers. Programmers talk about software development on weekends, vacations, and over meals not because they lack imagination, but because their imagination reveals worlds that others cannot see." —Bruce Eckel and Larry O'Brien This quotation was found on the book "Practical Dojo Projects" by Frank Zammetti.
